Penile Implant Surgery

Penile Implant Surgery using the MINT (Minimally Invasive No Touch) Technique which Dr Love developed. This technique has resulted in the world’s lowest infection rates for Penile Implant Surgery. Read about the surgical procedure in detail.

Low Intensity Shockwave Therapy (LiSWT)

In some men with declining erections, particularly if this is due to narrowed blood vessels (vascular disease), the use of low-energy shock waves to the penis may improve the strength of erections. In this non-invasive treatment, shock waves, which are pulsed sound waves, are delivered by a device which is applied to the skin of the penis in several areas. The number of shockwave pulses delivered, as well as their frequency and energy, are customised to each condition treated and to each individual patient.

UroLift

The UroLift system is used as a treatment for the urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate or BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia). UroLift is one of the Minimally Invasive Surgical Therapies (MIST) offered by Dr Love. UroLift works by holding the enlarged prostate open, without removing any prostate tissue, so that the prostate does not restrict the bladder outflow as much.

Prostatic Water Vapour Treatment

Prostatic Water Vapour Treatment is used for the urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate or BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia). It’s one of the Minimally Invasive Surgical Therapies (MIST) offered by Dr Love. The treatment uses the natural energy stored in water vapour (steam.) During each 9 second treatment, sterile water vapour is released within the targeted enlarged prostate tissue. When the steam turns back into water, within the prostate, all the stored energy is released, heating that area of the prostate and causing the surrounding prostate tissue to die.

GreenLight Laser Treatment

GreenLight laser prostatectomy is a safe, effective and efficient treatment to ease the urinary symptoms in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), enlargement of the prostate gland. It is a procedure that uses a 532nm wavelength laser to remove the enlarged prostate tissue blocking the urethra by vaporisation of the tissue. This laser appears green in colour hence the name of the device. The laser with this specific wavelength is chosen as it is selectively absorbed by the red prostate tissue and poorly absorbed by water, therefore causing vaporisation. The procedure is also known as Photo-selective Vaporisation of the Prostate (PVP).
